Applications/Customer Support Specialist

Employment type: Full Time

Location: SE Suburbs, Melbourne, Australia

About the role:

  • Radiology Information Solutions

  • RIS, Business Intelligence, Speech Recognition & Integration Solutions

Reporting to the Service Desk Manager you will provide application, workflow and technical support to clients and assist with implementing and coordinating upgrades of Comrad products and features at customer sites. You will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, leading and assisting in problems and incident triage, troubleshooting, investigation and resolution. After-hours and on call support is a necessary part of this role.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience supporting applications and software.
  • Knowledge of radiological technologies, terminology and processes.
  • Experience working independently and in team-orientated, collaborative environment.
  • Creation of professional documentation, training material and reports.
  • Able to meet deadlines and handle diverse tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong customer service orientation, Vendor, Stakeholder and Customer Management skills.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Experienced in the use and support of Microsoft desktop Operating Systems, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Application Consultant – Radiology workflow solutions

Employment type: Full Time

Location: Christchurch, New Zealand

The Role:

As one of several Application Consultants you are used to a fast paced and interactive process and you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders to insure the delivery of high quality project outcomes.

You will provide expert consulting services to existing and potential customers, lead implementation of products including pre and post-implementation activities such as requirement gathering, workflow analysis, training and ongoing support.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a strong background and experience in the following:

  • Implementation and support of application software in an enterprise environment
  • Customer Service Management ideally gained in a Radiology or wider health environment
  • Creation of professional documentation, training material and reports
  • Ability to work independently and self-directed but also as part of a wider team
  • MS desktop operating systems and MS Office Suite knowledge
  • Understanding of customer services frameworks
  • Strong customer facing skills and the ability to communicate at all levels

Software Engineer

Employment type: Fixed term contract

Location: Christchurch, New Zealand

About the role:

You will join as a fixed term contract intermediate Web design and development Engineer (ideally with some UI skills) and become part of the Agile product development team. You will contribute collaboratively, be creative and constructive with a strong passion for high quality software development. In this role you will use latest technology tools and will be able to lift your technical knowledge to a new level.

Ideally you will come from a structured Agile environment where you are used to a fast paced and interactive process.  You will need to be based in Christchurch for the duration of this contract.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • UI and user-centered design and development for web applications
  • Prototyping of web applications using wireframe and low-fidelity prototyping tools
  • Develop unit and integration tests for new functionality and review test scripts to ensure alignment with the quality assurance strategy
  • Contribute to the design of products and technical decisions for web applications.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a strong background and experience in the following:

  • A good understanding of software engineering practices.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience developing Web applications using MVC web presentation frameworks, HTML5, Bootstrap, JSON, CSS, and JavaScript (React desirable)
  • Experience working with REST APIs
  • Strong understanding of build tools and Git version control
  • Experience with JUnit, DBUnit, and JavaScript testing frameworks
  • Web application experience using Node.js (desirable)
